I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Residencia Castellano I in Salamanca. I was there for a few days to explore the city and the hotel was in a great location. The ground floor room was nice and clean. The 24-hour manned reception desk was a plus, with a friendly Spaniard who gave us a detailed touristic map. The breakfast, served in the adjoining bar, was good value for money.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

For the price, I got great value. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The location was convenient, just a short walk to the center and the train station. The staff were friendly and helpful, even giving me recommendations for cheap and delicious tapas.
The breakfast offerings could be improved, as I only received a single piece of toast with oil and tomato puree. It would have been nice to have more variety and protein options available.
